Studio Update – December 2015 – Issue #1

Bonne soirée!

Over the last two months, work has been slowing down at ReVenture Games. Resulka has been very busy with work, and i couldn’t do much without any new assets. However, i did do some work here and there!

  • The shop scene has been edited in various aspects. The camera is now static, the boxes have been moved slightly, posters have been added to the walls, a decal of the shop’s name is on the windows now, dust particles are flying around the shop.. In short, a lot of small changes!
  • The GUI has been edited slightly too. There is now a sleek subtitle background, as-well as new textures for the Options and Exit buttons!Bildschirmfoto 2015-12-04 um 00.22.07

  • Lastly, we’ve implemented a new main menu scene! It is a night version of the shop, and i think it’s quite snazzy!

“Long Live The Cat King”

As you might have seen already, we’ve also updated LLTCK recently. For some strange reason, all the websites that host the game still had v.1.0 of the game, which has a game-breaking bug where you cannot exit the conversation with one of the characters. This was actually fixed with v.1.1 already, but i decided to fix a few more things here and there. Version 1.2 is now available in all the default download locations! Feel free to give it another go 🙂

That’s about it for this month’s update! Resulka wants to get back into game development later this month, and we’re planning on finishing up the LORNA1 Prototype late December/early January 2016. After that, we have TONS of ideas for shorter projects. We are pretty much certain about one of them, called “Subject 33”. It will be the first game set in the Point Energy saga, and revolves around a specific experiment by Friendship Matters, a company inside the PE universe! Beyond that…who knows! We have ideas. LOTS of them.

We would also like to say thank you to all you guys who support us all the time! We love having weird conversations with you on the Twitters!

See y’all to the next update! We love you, guys (and gals)!
